Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Nashville, TN, Priority One is a company committed to the education and implementation of management strategies for situations involving physical confrontation – and developing the attitudes and disciplines necessary to survive them.

Priority One’s clients include U.S. Federal/State Law Enforcement and Military personnel. Instructor certification courses are a key part of the training offered to our government clients.

With safety foremost on the mind, concern for viewer perception has been taken into account on all levels of force application. Subtle, yet highly effective techniques are used to gain total subject compliance. These measures are designed to help maintain a professional image while having a calming affect on bystanders.

Priority One’s new BASETAC Training Center opened in the Fall of 2003, providing a secure and private facility for training of all types. The training center includes a floating deck, padded work out area, class room area, showers and administrative offices.

Priority One recognizes the law-abiding public’s need for personal self-defense and home security training. BASETAC Training Center offers “SAFE by CHOICE” basic through advanced personal protection training for adults in topic specific sessions.

In the Spring of 2004, Priority One added Julia’s Body Shop, a private weight training and fitness center. Julia Ledbetter, co-owner of Priority One and manger of Julia’s Body Shop, developed a “Boot Camp” offering group cardio  and weight training for better health and weight management.
